Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Ferrowave Analytics builds predictive-maintenance software that tells factory maintenance teams which machine will fail next, not which one already did. As their sixth engineer, you'd own customer-facing product surfaces — the fleet dashboard, alerting engine, and reporting API — working closely with the CTO and talking directly with customers. It's an early, high-trust team where you'll help set the engineering practices as you go.

What You'll Do

  • Ship features across a TypeScript stack: Next.js frontend, Node services, Postgres
  • Own the alerting rules engine — design, build, and operate it
  • Turn messy sensor-analytics questions into fast, legible dashboard views
  • Talk to maintenance leads at pilot customers and feed learnings back into the product
  • Help set up the engineering practices you want to work within — the team is still early

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years building production web applications
  • Deep TypeScript experience on both client and server
  • You've owned a system in production — on-call, migrations, the works
  • Strong product instincts — you ask 'why' before 'how'
  • Comfortable in a small, high-trust, mostly async team

Nice to Have

  • Time-series data, industrial/IoT, or other high-volume ingest experience
  • Prior startup experience (sub-20-person company)

Compensation & Benefits

  • $165,000–$195,000 base, depending on experience
  • 0.4%–0.8% equity
  • Fully remote (US/EU overlap hours)
  • 4 weeks vacation plus local holidays
  • $2,000 annual home-office and learning budget
  • Health, dental, and vision (US) or local-equivalent stipend (EU)
